Need Adopt A Family Christmas Assistance

I am a single mother of a 10 year old daughter who is on disability for bipolar/anxiety disorder!  My daughter's father, my ex husband quit paying child support and lost all contact about 2 years ago.  This hurt my daughter deeply even though she hadn't seen him then in several years he at least used to call her once in a while...no more. Anyway we have a family of feral and abandoned cats that we are feeding.  We cannot take them to our Animal Shelter because it is inhumane and they would be gassed to death or sold out for expermentation.  I am trying every way I know how to get help with food through local stores, etc.  I am also searching the internet for spay/neuter/return programs.

Anyway we just run out of money every month even for our basic needs so we do not have to let them just starve to death.  I believe we should help Gods creatures.  But...I am not going to have money to give my daughter a good Christmas this year and was looking to see if there was anyone interested in adopting our home for Christmas.  We would just love you from the bottom of our hearts if someone would open their hearts to my daughter!!!

 in response to Starshine...   I live in new jersey we missed the cut off for toys for tots the va does give us food baskets for thanksgiving n christmas. Thank u for the web pages I will definiitely check into them.

I don't know what city and state you are in? Can your husband get help as he served for our country from the Veteran's Administration?

Hi my name is Debbie i am married and a mother of 5. This yr is very hard on us. my husband is on unemployment and a full time student. i just got a job working part time for like 10 hrs a week. I would never think to ask anyone for help but i feel this is something i have to do for my children. Three of my children i adopted through dyfs when they were babies and the other two little ones are mine. my husband is in the army reserved served over seas two tours in iraq and trying to find a job with decent pay. i feel that there has to be someone to help me give my children a decent xmas. the money my husband gets from unemployment pays the rent and some bills. we dont even have the money to put more oil in our tank for heating i pray everyday it will last another month. so if anyone has it in there heart to help us this yr i would greatly appreciated it. Hello i am in a very different situation but i am also a single mother, I have two children a 13 year old son and a 7 year old daughter. My husband left us, he was the breadwinner. I dont make much, its very hard to support these two little ones, sometimes i dont eat and i do not feel bad about that. Im just worried about my children. I told my daughter we werent going to have many things for christmas this year, she said mom, what about Santa he wont forget us. Wow, i have to find gifts for these children. If you can help or know of anyone who can please let me know. If you cant help a prayer would be perfect. Thank you, Wendy

My name is Valerie Forde and I am a struggling mother of five children. My children's ages are 12(g), 11(b), 10(g), 6(b), and 4(g). Currently, I am unemployed and receive only Public Assistance. This is our first Christmas together in three years because my children were in fostercare.
I am desperately asking for assistance for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday. I believe my children deserve to have a decent Christmas but unfortunately I am unable to provide anything for them.
